- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 bag (30 oz) frozen hashbrowns
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, add a little oil and cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, draining any excess fat.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a large baking dish, layer half of the frozen hashbrowns, half of the cooked beef mixture, half of the creamy mixture, and half of the shredded cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients, finishing with a generous layer of cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.

You can customize this recipe by swapping the meat for turkey or chicken or adding vegetables for extra nutrition.
