Ingredients

  • 45 russet potatoes, diced
  • 2 cups diced ham
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil the diced russet potatoes until tender, then drain.
  3. Melt the butter in a separate saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the cream, milk, salt, pepper, and onion powder to create a creamy sauce.
  4. Combine the cooked potatoes, diced ham, and shredded cheese in a large mixing bowl. Pour the creamy sauce on top.
  5. Stir the mixture until everything is well coated.
  6. Transfer the potato and ham mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  7. Sprinkle additional shredded cheese on top if desired.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the casserole is golden brown and bubbly.
