Description
Delightful Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls filled with a creamy chicken mixture, perfect as an appetizer or main dish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 can crescent roll dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 to 3 green onions, sliced
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: garlic powder or dried parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken and softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese and sliced green onions; season with salt and black pepper. Add optional spices if desired.
- Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
- Take about one tablespoon of the chicken mixture and place it on the wide end of each dough triangle.
- Roll each triangle from the wide end toward the tip, tucking in the sides to enclose the filling.
- Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Avoid overstuffing the rolls to prevent bursting during baking. Softened cream cheese blends better with chicken.
