Description

Delightful Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls filled with a creamy chicken mixture, perfect as an appetizer or main dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 to 3 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder or dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken and softened cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese and sliced green onions; season with salt and black pepper. Add optional spices if desired.
  4. Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  5. Take about one tablespoon of the chicken mixture and place it on the wide end of each dough triangle.
  6. Roll each triangle from the wide end toward the tip, tucking in the sides to enclose the filling.
  7. Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Avoid overstuffing the rolls to prevent bursting during baking. Softened cream cheese blends better with chicken.
