Description

A comforting dish that combines the classic flavors of cheesesteak with cheese tortellini in a rich provolone sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Cheese tortellini
  • 1 lb Sliced steak
  • 8 oz Provolone cheese
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 Bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the onions and bell peppers in olive oil over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until soft.
  3. Add minced garlic and sliced steak to the skillet and cook until steak is browned, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Create the creamy sauce by lowering the heat and stirring in heavy cream and provolone cheese until melted.
  5. Combine the cooked tortellini with the sauce, gently tossing to coat.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste and stir one last time.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with additional provolone cheese if desired.

Notes

Avoid overcooking the tortellini and adjust seasoning to your liking. Consider using quality ingredients for the best flavor.
