- 4 cups Rice Krispies
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup whipped topping
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and tools, and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat and stir in the Rice Krispies until well coated.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine soft cream cheese and powdered sugar, mixing until smooth. Add vanilla extract and whipped topping, and blend well.
- Gently fold the buttery Rice Krispies into the cheesecake mixture, being careful not to crush them.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press down evenly.
- Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to set.
- Once chilled, cut into squares or rectangles for serving.
- Optional: Drizzle with caramel or chocolate sauce and sprinkle with crushed graham crackers or mini chocolate chips before serving.
Notes
Ensure that the cream cheese is softened properly to avoid lumps. Do not over-mix the mixture to retain the crunch of the Rice Krispies.
