Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 medium Yellow Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Onion Powder, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 cup Matchstick Carrots
  • 1 1/2 cups Uncooked Macaroni Noodles
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add diced onion to the pot and cook for 5-7 minutes until softened. Stir in minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Sprinkle flour over the mixture, cooking for 1-2 minutes while stirring. Gradually whisk in chicken broth until smooth and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine. Season with salt, pepper, and onion powder. Add Italian seasoning and paprika.
  5. Add matchstick carrots and macaroni, ensuring pasta is submerged. Cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove from heat, sprinkle cheese over soup, and let sit for 1 minute before stirring until melted. Serve hot.
