- 1 cup bell pepper, chopped

- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic. Cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the frozen mixed vegetables, cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and fold in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, milk, and melted butter; stir until just combined.
- Layer the ground beef mixture into a greased baking dish and spread the topping evenly over it.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Avoid overcooking the beef and over-mixing the topping.
