Description
This copycat CAVA crazy feta recipe is spicy, creamy, and ready in under 15 minutes. Serve it with bowls, chips, or veggies.
Ingredients
8 oz feta cheese (block, not crumbled)
1 cup sweet onion, finely diced
1/3 cup fresh jalapeños, diced (seeds removed)
1/4 cup olive oil (plus 2 tbsp for sautéing)
Optional: 1 clove roasted garlic, lemon zest or juice, roasted red pepper
Instructions
1. In a skillet, heat 2 tbsp olive oil over medium heat.
2. Add diced onion and jalapeño, sauté until golden and soft (4–5 minutes).
3. In a food processor, blend feta with 1/4 cup olive oil until smooth.
4. Transfer whipped feta to a bowl and mix in sautéed vegetables.
5. Serve at room temperature or store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Notes
Use mild olive oil to avoid overpowering flavor.
Let it sit out for 10–15 minutes before serving for best texture.
Can be made ahead and used as a spread, dip, or bowl topping.
