Description

A delicious and low-carb twist on traditional pizza with a crispy cauliflower crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • Toppings of choice (pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Rinse the cauliflower and chop it into florets. Steam the cauliflower florets until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Drain the cauliflower and let it cool slightly.
  4. Once cooled, rice the cauliflower using a food processor or grater.
  5. In a bowl, mix the riced cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Spread the mixture into the greased baking dish to form a crust.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  8. Remove from the oven, spread marinara sauce on top, add toppings, and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  9. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a crispy crust, reheat leftovers in the oven.
