Description

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower (cut into small florets)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Begin boiling a pot of water and preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Cut cauliflower into small florets.
  3. Put cauliflower into boiling water.
  4. In a small saucepan, melt butter and add garlic.
  5. Cook garlic until fragrant.
  6. Add the heavy cream and cook on medium until bubbling.
  7. Slowly add cheese and continuously stir.
  8. Continue adding cheese until the sauce is thick.
  9. Once the cauliflower is tender, remove from heat and drain.
  10. Pat the cauliflower down until dry.
  11. Add it to a small casserole dish.
  12. Pour cheese sauce over the top and stir in.
  13. Top with additional cheddar cheese.
  14. Bake for 10 minutes, or until cheese is fully melted.

Notes

Avoid overcooking the cauliflower for the best texture and use freshly shredded cheese for optimal melting.
