- 1 package of yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup toasted almonds, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg. Mix until well blended. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared pan.
- In another mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until fully incorporated.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake mix layer in the pan.
- Drizzle the caramel sauce and sprinkle the chocolate chips and toasted almonds on top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden and set.
- Allow to cool before serving.
