Description

A delightful and gooey dessert that combines layers of cake, cream cheese, caramel, chocolate, and toasted almonds.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup toasted almonds, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg. Mix until well blended. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared pan.
  3. In another mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until fully incorporated.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake mix layer in the pan.
  5. Drizzle the caramel sauce and sprinkle the chocolate chips and toasted almonds on top.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden and set.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.
