Description

A rich and indulgent dessert combining layers of chocolate brownie and creamy cheesecake with golden caramel swirls.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups brownie mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • Whipped cream (for serving, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Combine brownie mix, melted butter, and water in a large bowl, then pour half into the prepared pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth, then add sugar and vanilla. Mix well and add eggs one at a time.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the brownie base in the pan.
  5. Swirl the remaining brownie batter on top of the cheesecake layer.
  6. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl it into the batter.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the edges are set and the center jiggles slightly.
  8. Cool at room temperature then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
  9. Remove from pan, top with whipped cream if desired, and enjoy!

Notes

Be careful not to overmix the cheesecake filling to avoid cracks. Allow the cheesecake to chill at least 4 hours for best results.
