- 2 cups brownie mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- Whipped cream (for serving, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- Combine brownie mix, melted butter, and water in a large bowl, then pour half into the prepared pan.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth, then add sugar and vanilla. Mix well and add eggs one at a time.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the brownie base in the pan.
- Swirl the remaining brownie batter on top of the cheesecake layer.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl it into the batter.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until the edges are set and the center jiggles slightly.
- Cool at room temperature then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
- Remove from pan, top with whipped cream if desired, and enjoy!
Notes
Be careful not to overmix the cheesecake filling to avoid cracks. Allow the cheesecake to chill at least 4 hours for best results.
