- 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts
- 2 cups diced apples
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Optional: powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix diced apples, caramel sauce, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice until well combined.
- Roll out the pie crust and cut into circles (about 4 inches in diameter).
- Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each circle.
- Fold the crust over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
- Place the bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Beat the egg and brush over the tops of the bombs.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
