- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups peeled and diced apples
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter in a bowl and press it into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla extract with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gently fold in the diced apples, caramel sauce, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Pour the apple mixture over the crust in the baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until set and the edges are golden brown.
- Let it cool completely before cutting into bars. Drizzle additional caramel sauce over the top before serving.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is softened to avoid lumps in the filling. Cool gradually to prevent cracks.
