Description

Rich and creamy deviled eggs enhanced with Cajun seasoning and shrimp, perfect for parties and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • Paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs: place them in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and cover for 12 minutes. Afterward, cool them in cold water and peel.
  2. Cut the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks, placing them in a bowl.
  3. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Fold in the chopped shrimp and green onions.
  5. Spoon or pipe the mixture back into the egg whites.
  6. Sprinkle with paprika for garnish and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. Fill egg whites close to serving time for best freshness.
