Description
Delicious Cuban garlic bread sandwiches filled with roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, and pickles, all grilled to crispy perfection.
Ingredients

- Cuban bread or garlic bread
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 4 tablespoons butter (softened)
- 1 cup pork (roasted or cooked, shredded)
- 4 slices ham
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup pickles (sliced)
- 2 tablespoons mustard
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Mix softened butter with minced garlic in a small bowl.
- Spread the garlic butter on the outsides of the Cuban bread.
- Layer the inside of the bread with sliced pork, ham, Swiss cheese, and pickles.
- Spread a thin layer of mustard on the inside if desired.
- Close the sandwich and place it on the skillet.
- Grill until the bread is crispy and golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
For best results, press down gently while grilling to ensure even toasting and melting of cheese.
