These little cookies are soft, buttery, and easy to make. They melt in your mouth and look nice on a holiday tray.

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Holiday sprinkles or powdered sugar for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add in the all-purpose flour and vanilla extract, mixing until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Flatten each ball slightly and shape them as desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on a wire rack.
- Once cooled, decorate with holiday sprinkles or a dusting of powdered sugar.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container. They will keep well for 4-5 days at room temperature, up to 2 weeks in the fridge, and up to 3 months in the freezer.
