A delightful appetizer featuring creamy burrata cheese, rich salami, and a zesty lemon-pepper oil.
Ingredients

- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
- 2 tablespoons thinly sliced lemon zest (from about 1 lemon)
- 1–2 sprinkles black pepper
- 4 balls fresh burrata cheese, at room temperature
- 2 pounds thinly sliced salami
- Marcona almonds, for serving
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the extra virgin olive oil, rosemary, smashed garlic cloves, and lemon zest.
- Warm the mixture over low heat for 5–6 minutes until fragrant, then remove from heat and stir in the black pepper.
- Let it cool slightly.
- Place the burrata balls in small bowls or arrange on a large platter.
- Arrange the sliced salami around the burrata.
- Drizzle each burrata generously with the infused lemon-pepper oil.
- Sprinkle flaky salt on top and scatter Marcona almonds around the dish.
- Serve immediately with crackers or crusty bread.
