Description
A spicy twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, featuring shredded chicken in tangy buffalo sauce topped with melted cheese and fresh vegetables.

- 1 pound of cooked and shredded chicken breast
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup of sliced onions
- 1 cup of sliced bell peppers
- 1 cup of buffalo sauce
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: blue cheese or ranch dressing for serving
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté for about 5 minutes until soft.
- Add shredded chicken and buffalo sauce to the skillet. Stir well until heated through, about 3-4 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the hoagie rolls open and place them on a baking sheet. Spoon buffalo chicken mixture into each roll.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with blue cheese or ranch dressing if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
Use fresh veggies for better flavor. Toast hoagie rolls lightly if making ahead of time to prevent sogginess.
