- 1 box of brownie mix
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup of water
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Chocolate shavings or sprinkles for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
- Combine the brownie mix, vegetable oil, water, and eggs in a large bowl. Stir until well mixed.
- Pour the brownie batter into the baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, until mostly clean when tested with a toothpick. Let cool completely.
- Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then add powdered sugar and vanilla extract gradually, whipping until stiff peaks form.
- Crumble the cooled brownies into small pieces and gently fold in the whipped cream mixture.
- Transfer the brownie mousse to serving dishes, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
- Serve with optional toppings like chocolate shavings or sprinkles.
Notes
For best results, do not overmix the brownie batter and ensure brownies are completely cool before crumbling.
