- 1 box (9 oz) fudge brownie mix
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp cold water
- 14 oz unwrapped soft caramels
- 1 can (5 oz) evaporated milk
- 16 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup chocolate fudge sauce
Instructions
- Mix the brownie mix, 1 egg, and cold water in a bowl until well combined. Transfer to a greased 9-inch springform pan.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the brownie base for 25 minutes.
- Melt the unwrapped caramels with the evaporated milk over low heat until smooth.
- Once the brownie layer has cooled for 15 minutes, pour the melted caramel over it.
- Beat the cream cheese until fluffy, then mix in sugar, vanilla, and 2 eggs until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the caramel layer and bake for an additional 40 minutes.
- Let the cheesecake cool at room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
- Drizzle chocolate fudge sauce over the chilled cheesecake before slicing.
