- 1 cup unsalted butter, browned
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups white chocolate chips (340 grams)
- 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides. Lightly mist the paper with nonstick spray.
- Brown the Butter: In a light-colored saucepan, add the unsalted butter. Heat it over medium heat, stirring often until it turns a deep amber color.
- Combine with Sweetened Condensed Milk: Immediately stir in the sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
- Melt the Chocolate: Return the saucepan to low heat, add the white chocolate chips, and stir constantly until melted and smooth.
- Incorporate Sugar and Flavor: Remove from heat, sift in the powdered sugar, and stir until no lumps remain. Mix in the vanilla extract and fine sea salt.
- Pour and Set: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm, preferably overnight.
- Cut and Serve: Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment overhang and cut into squares.
Notes
Store in an airtight container. Best enjoyed chilled.
