Description

Delightful dessert bars featuring sweet blueberries, creamy filling, and a crunchy crumble topping.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. Combine the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
  4. Pour the melted butter into the mixture and stir until crumbly.
  5. Press about 2/3 of the crumble mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  6. Beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth.
  7. Fold the blueberries into the cream cheese mixture carefully.
  8. Spread the blueberry cream mixture over the pressed crust.
  9. Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the top.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden.
  11. Cool completely before slicing into bars.

Notes

Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, and dust with powdered sugar for a decorative touch.
