Description

A fun and simple way to enjoy the flavors of a classic Big Mac in a fresh pasta salad.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup red onion, diced
  • 1 cup pickles, diced
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside to cool.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat and drain any excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, browned beef, red onion, pickles, lettuce, and cheddar cheese. Stir to mix evenly.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to make the sauce.
  5. Pour the sauce over the pasta mixture and toss gently to coat all ingredients.
  6. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

Serve as a side dish or main meal. Great for potlucks and BBQs.
