- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 cup mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup fried onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Blanch the green beans in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain and rinse under cold water.
- In a large bowl, mix the mushroom soup, milk, chopped onion, salt, and pepper together well.
- Add the green beans to the mixture and stir to combine thoroughly.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
- After 25 minutes, remove from the oven, stir in half of the fried onions, and top with the remaining fried onions.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
