- 2 lb ground beef or turkey
- 2 small green peppers, diced
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 2 cans diced tomatoes (15 oz each)
- 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
- 1 can tomato paste (6 oz)
- 15 oz water
- 2 cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed (15 oz each)
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef or turkey over medium heat.
- Add the diced green peppers and yellow onion, cooking until they are soft.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and water.
- Add the kidney beans and season with spices to taste.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot, perfect for family dinners or game day!
