Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 2.5 cups filtered water
- 1 teaspoon basil seeds, soaked separately in water for at least 15 minutes
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the cumin and fennel seeds with 2.5 cups of water.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
- Lower the heat and let it simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Strain the tea into a mug or thermos.
- Stir in the pre-soaked basil seeds just before serving.
- Sip warm or lukewarm for optimal post-op digestion and comfort.
