Description
A comfort food classic featuring cheesy, seasoned beef wrapped in flour tortillas, perfect for family dinners or casual meals.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1 package large flour tortillas
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup diced onions (optional)
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
- Lettuce (optional)
Instructions
- Begin by heating a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until it is browned. Make sure to drain any excess fat.
- Once the beef is cooked, sprinkle the taco seasoning over it. Add water according to the instructions on the seasoning packet, and let it simmer until the mixture thickens.
- To prepare the tortillas, warm them in a skillet over low heat or in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds each.
- On each warm tortilla, layer some of the seasoned beef, shredded cheddar cheese, nacho cheese sauce, and sour cream. Feel free to add optional ingredients like diced onions, tomatoes, or lettuce.
- Carefully roll each tortilla tightly to enclose the filling. Tuck in the sides as you roll.
- If you want a crispy outside, you can toast the rolled burritos in a skillet until they are golden brown on all sides.
- Serve the burritos warm, and enjoy this delicious meal with your favorite sides!
