- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 4 cups Doritos (crushed)
- 1 can diced tomatoes (optional)
- 1/2 cup sliced green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning, cream of mushroom soup, and sour cream to the beef, stirring until well combined.
- In a greased 9×13 baking dish, layer 1/2 of the crushed Doritos.
- Spread the beef mixture over the Doritos, then layer with 1 cup of shredded cheese.
- Add another layer of crushed Doritos on top, followed by the remaining cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
Notes
You can customize this recipe by using ground turkey for a lighter option or adding extra veggies to the beef mixture.
