- 12 oz Rotini Pasta
- 1 lb Sausage (Andouille, spicy Italian, kielbasa, or chicken sausage)
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 cup BBQ Sauce
- 2 Tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted water. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sausage, sliced into bite-sized pieces, and sauté until browned and cooked through (5-7 minutes).
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in BBQ sauce, honey, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper, stirring well to combine. Allow to simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sausage and sauce mixture and toss to combine.
- Cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring gently. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Customize the recipe by swapping the sausage or adding more vegetables. Serve with a simple salad or garlic bread.
