Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 0.5 cup water
  • Food coloring (various colors)
  • Glitter (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix baking soda and cornstarch in equal parts.
  2. Gradually add water to the mix until a dough forms.
  3. Divide the dough into smaller portions and add food coloring to each.
  4. Roll out the colored dough to about a quarter-inch thickness.
  5. Use cookie cutters to cut out star, moon, and planet shapes.
  6. Make a hole at the top of each shape with a straw for hanging.
  7. Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C) and bake the shapes on a lined baking sheet until dry (2-3 hours).
  8. Once cool, sprinkle with glitter for added sparkle.
  9. Display your ornaments as desired.
