Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite)
  • 1 package wonton wrappers (about 48 wrappers)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Cooking spray
  • Dipping sauce of your choice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked and browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess grease, then mix in garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. Let the mixture cool slightly before adding the shredded cheese. Stir until evenly distributed.
  3. Lay out wonton wrappers on a clean surface and have a small bowl of water ready.
  4. Place about a teaspoon of the sausage mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper, moisten the edges with water, fold to seal.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Arrange filled wontons on the baking sheet, brushing tops lightly with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Serve warm with dipping sauce.

Notes
