Description

A delightful balance of sweet and savory flavors with creamy goat cheese and tart cranberries, perfect as an appetizer or warm dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe pears
  • 4 oz goat cheese
  • 1 cup tart cranberries (fresh or dried)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped nuts (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the pears in half and scoop out the core.
  3. Mix together the goat cheese, cranberries, honey, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
  4. Stuff the pear halves with the mixture.
  5. Place the pears in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pears are tender and golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and serve warm, garnished with chopped nuts if desired.

Notes

Choose ripe pears for sweetness and tenderness. Avoid overstuffing the pears to prevent overflow during baking.
