Description

Delicious and easy-to-make baked meatballs topped with marinara sauce and gooey mozzarella cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound frozen meatballs
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pour the marinara sauce into a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  3. Place the frozen meatballs on top of the marinara sauce, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the meatballs and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil, sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the meatballs, and bake uncovered for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve hot.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the dish for even cooking. Quality marinara sauce enhances the flavor.
