- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pour the marinara sauce into a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Place the frozen meatballs on top of the marinara sauce, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
- Drizzle olive oil over the meatballs and season with salt and pepper.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the meatballs, and bake uncovered for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve hot.
Notes
Don’t overcrowd the dish for even cooking. Quality marinara sauce enhances the flavor.
