- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1 cup flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (use panko for extra crunch)
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray (for baking)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray it with cooking spray.
- Prepare the chicken by slicing the chicken breasts into strips.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Bread a chicken strip by coating it in flour, dipping it in beaten eggs, and rolling it in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Repeat the process for all chicken strips until fully coated.
- Spray the tops of the coated chicken fingers with cooking spray.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
- Toss the baked chicken fingers in buffalo sauce in a large bowl.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs. Pair with celery, carrot sticks, or your favorite dipping sauces.
