Description
Delicious and easy-to-make sliders filled with crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, and melted cheddar cheese, perfect for breakfast gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 slider rolls
- 8 large eggs
- 8 slices of bacon
- 8 slices of cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Optional toppings: green onions, hot sauce, or ketchup
Instructions
- Cook the bacon: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and place it on a paper towel to drain the excess fat.
- Scramble the eggs: In the same skillet, remove some of the bacon grease but leave about 1 tablespoon. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and let it melt. Crack the eggs into a bowl, season with salt and pepper, and whisk them well. Pour the eggs into the skillet. Cook, stirring gently, until the eggs are fully cooked but still soft.
- Assemble the sliders: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). While the eggs are still warm, cut the slider rolls in half. Place the bottoms of the rolls in a baking dish. On each roll bottom, place a slice of cheddar cheese, followed by 2 pieces of crispy bacon, and a generous scoop of scrambled eggs. Top each with another slice of cheese, then place the roll tops back on.
- Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for about 10 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Take the sliders out of the oven. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving. You can add your favorite toppings like chopped green onions or a drizzle of hot sauce or ketchup.
Notes
Leftover sliders can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days.
