Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and sauté until translucent.
- Add the thinly sliced beef and cook until browned.
- Pour in soy sauce, mirin, and sugar; stir to combine and cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve the beef mixture over bowls of cooked rice.
- Garnish with green onions and shredded nori if desired.

For the best flavor, use well-marbled cuts like ribeye or sirloin. Thinly slice the beef against the grain for easier chewing.
