Instructions
- In a saucepan, pour in the beef broth. Add the soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with a bit of water to create a smooth slurry.
- Turn the heat on under the saucepan to medium-high, stirring continuously as the mixture heats.
- Once the mixture begins to boil, pour the cornstarch slurry into the saucepan while stirring continuously.
- Let it cook for a few more minutes, tasting and seasoning with salt and pepper as desired.
- Serve warm over roast beef or mashed potatoes.
Notes
For best results, allow the gravy to come to a boil slowly and stir frequently to avoid lumps.
