Instructions
- Prepare the Waffles: Toast the frozen waffles according to the package instructions until golden brown and slightly crisp.
- Mix the Apple Filling: In a medium bowl, combine the diced apple, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Allow to sit for 5-10 minutes.
- Make the Batter: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, egg, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in the apple mixture.
- Heat the Waffle Maker: Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions and grease it.
