Description

Delicious and fluffy cinnamon rolls infused with apple cider for a unique and tasty treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for filling)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Heat the apple cider over medium heat until reduced to about 1 cup. Allow to cool.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, yeast, salt, and ground cinnamon in a large bowl.
  3. Add the cooled apple cider, melted butter, milk, and egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size, about 60 minutes.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread with melted butter and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Roll tightly and slice into individual rolls. Place in a greased baking dish.
  8. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Mix powdered sugar and apple cider until smooth for the glaze. Drizzle over rolls before serving.
