- 2 pounds frozen french fries
- 8 ounces ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to the temperature specified on the french fry packaging.
- Spread frozen french fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake until golden brown and crispy, about 20-30 minutes.
- While fries are baking, cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- After fries are cooked, place them in an oven-safe dish and top with cooked ground beef, spreading it out evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef and fries, then return to the oven for another 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven, top with dollops of sour cream and fresh chives, and serve immediately.
