- 1 large crisp apple (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith), cored and thinly sliced or julienned
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (toasted)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine the shaved Brussels sprouts and sliced apple in a large mixing bowl.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, and honey or maple syrup until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the Brussels sprout and apple mixture.
- Toss gently until evenly coated.
- Stir in the chopped nuts.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
