- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the mashed bananas and melted butter.
- Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Add the baking soda and salt. Mix in the flour until just combined.
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Pour half the banana bread batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
- Pour in the remaining banana bread batter and sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon-sugar on top.
- Use a knife to swirl the batter gently to create a marbled effect.
- Bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before slicing and serving. Enjoy your delicious breakfast treat!
