- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions
- Cook the orzo according to package directions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain well.
- While the orzo cooks, heat olive oil in a small skillet over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic for about one minute until fragrant.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked orzo, sautéed garlic and olive oil, fresh lemon juice, and lemon zest.
- Gently toss together to coat the pasta evenly with the garlic and lemon mixture.
- Stir in the chopped fresh parsley.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
