Description

Delightful air-fried mushrooms coated in a crispy panko mixture, served with creamy ranch dressing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh mushrooms (button or cremini)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or fresh)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 large egg (optional, for better binding)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mushrooms: Clean with a damp cloth and trim the stems. Cut if large.
  2. Mix the coating: In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the mushrooms: Whisk the egg (if using), dip mushrooms in egg, then roll in breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Preheat the air fryer: Set to 375°F (190°C) and preheat for about 5 minutes.
  5. Air Fry the mushrooms: Place coated mushrooms in a single layer, cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  6. Serve: Serve hot with ranch dressing on the side for dipping.

Notes

To reheat leftover mushrooms, crisp them in the air fryer at 375°F for 5 minutes.
