Description
Delicious deviled eggs made effortlessly in an air fryer, perfect for parties.
Ingredients
Scale
- 6 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon mustard (yellow or Dijon)
- 1 teaspoon vinegar (white or apple cider)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Paprika for garnish
- Optional: chives or dill for extra flavor
Instructions
- Prepare the Eggs: Start by placing the eggs in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to 270°F (130°C) and cook for 16-18 minutes.
- Ice Bath: Once done, carefully transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water. Let them sit for about 5-10 minutes to cool completely. This helps make peeling easier.
- Peel the Eggs: After cooling, gently tap the eggs on a hard surface to crack the shell. Peel under running water to help remove any stubborn bits.
- Cut and Remove Yolks: Slice each egg in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Mix the Filling: Mash the yolks with a fork, then add mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy. Adjust the seasoning to your taste.
- Fill the Egg Whites: Use a spoon or piping bag to fill each egg white half with the yolk mixture.
- Garnish: Sprinkle a little paprika on top of each filled egg. If desired, add chopped chives or dill for a fresh flavor.
- Serve: Your air fryer deviled eggs are ready to be served! Enjoy them chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
For best results, fill the eggs just before serving. Store filled eggs in an airtight container lined with a damp paper towel for up to two days.
