Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey or beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground meat with onion and garlic until fully cooked.
  2. Transfer the meat mixture to the crockpot.
  3. Add the beans, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix everything well and cover.
  5. Cook on low for 360 minutes or on high for 240 minutes.
