- 1/2 tsp Fine Sea Salt
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cumin
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder (or 1 minced garlic clove)
- 1 Lime (juiced)
Instructions
- Add the cooked black beans along with their liquid to a medium saucepan.
- Stir in the diced onions, fire-roasted tomatoes, and adobo sauce, adding the minced chipotle pepper if using.
- Add the sea salt, ground cumin, and garlic powder (or minced garlic) to the mixture.
- Turn the heat to medium and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Finally, remove from heat and stir in the fresh lime juice.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed, then serve hot.
